New release of data from AODstats
We’re pleased to have updated AOD stats with several new datasets.
AODstats provides information on the harms related to alcohol, as well as illicit and pharmaceutical drug use in Victoria. Our data sets are an important statistical and epidemiological resource for policy planners, drug service providers, health professionals and other key stakeholders.
This latest release includes new data sets for DirectLine and Counselling Online for the year 2022, as well as Assaults and Family Violence for the 2021/22 financial year.
Bulletin #7 also explores ambulance attendances for the last two financial years (2021/22 and 2022/23), focusing on alcohol consumption and GHB-related attendances.
Bulletins are distributed to AODstats subscribers with each new data release. Each bulletin highlights different topics and provides an overview of currently available datasets. Join the mailing list for AODstats here.
These updates wouldn’t be possible without the tireless work of our coders in the National Addiction and Mental Health Surveillance Unit (NAMHSU) – thanks to the whole team!
