As Australia’s leading addiction treatment, education and research centre, Turning Point offers opportunities for students to undertake research projects across a diverse range of topics such as clinical trials, treatment and intervention programs, neurocognition recovery, and health surveillance.
Through its affiliation with Monash University – ranked among the world's top universities, and with a reputation for research and teaching excellence – Turning Point offers students a truly world-class learning experience that puts them at the forefront of alcohol and other drugs research.
Alongside their peers, and under the supervision and mentorship of renowned academics within the addictions field, students will help answer important questions about addiction, help to tackle the stigma and misinformation that stops people getting the help they need.
Whether you’re a student just beginning your higher education journey, or advancing your research as an early career researcher, Turning Point offers programs that support both professional and research excellence at all levels, including the Student Addiction Researchers (StAR) Program, the Emerging Research Leaders (ERL) Program, and ongoing professional development opportunities through monthly Talking Point and Connect & Learn webinars.
