Overview

Amy is a Research Assistant working within the National Addiction and Mental Health Surveillance Unit at Turning Point, having joined the team in 2024.

Background

Amy completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Bachelor of arts at Monash University. She completed her Honours year within the Monash Biomedical Discovery Institute in 2022, with a research focus on the therapeutic use of psilocybin in animal models of Anorexia Nervosa.

Amy currently works as a Sessional Academic within the Department of Physiology at Monash University and hopes to move forward into further research and study in the field of medicine.
