Karen’s role as an education officer involves working in several programs, including BreakThrough: Families Understanding Addiction. As part of the BreakThrough team, Karen develops content and facilitates online and face-to-face education and support sessions for families across Victoria dealing with a loved one's drug use.
Background
Karen is a qualified writer, educator and workplace trainer with many years' experience delivering a range of holistic, creative and vocational training programs in the AOD / Mental Health sectors, in both community and residential settings. Karen holds a Graduate Certificate in Consumer and Community Engagement and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
