Overview

Greg is one of the education and training officers in Turning Point’s Workforce Development Team. In addition to contributing to the multiple education and training activities undertaken by the team, Greg manages the educational internship program.

Background

Greg has been a Psychologist for over 30 years and has worked in numerous settings. He is passionate about adult education and was the coordinator of a public mental health service training program for over ten years. His Master’s thesis examined the stressors and coping strategies of Australian police personnel and he maintains an ongoing interest in stress, trauma and resilience. His PhD was in the field of telephone counselling for problem gambling.

Research interests

In addition to the above, Greg has a keen interest in military mental health. He is also an experienced ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) trainer.
