DirectLine Peer Worker Navigation
Overview
This project will use a navigation intervention comprising a peer worker to build trusting relationships with DirectLine callers based on shared lived experience, provide connection and support, and seek to engage callers with services and resources in the community.
Having the assistance of a peer worker who has been through the recovery process and understands the impact of stigma and discrimination, and encourages callers to access information and community supports, is a core element of the intervention. The ultimate goal is for callers to be empowered to seek the relevant information, care, and support they need.
