Renee Webb
Team Leader, National Addiction and Mental Health Surveillance Unit, Turning Point
Overview
Renee has been part of the NAMHSU team for seven years, working on a number of projects. She is now the Team Leader for the NAMHSU research assistants, providing supervision, contributing to data coding guidelines and reporting stats to the executive team.
Background
Renee has worked in healthcare for over 20 years with a background in Radiology, Oncology and most recently AOD research. Her passion is advocating for vulnerable communities, in particular Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
She undertook Bachelor of Health Science in order to gain a better knowledge in this area and has previously worked at Turning Point as the Aboriginal Liaison Officer within our residential units. Renee is currently completing a Bachelor of Nursing to further her knowledge base.
