Other telehealth services
Victoria's SafeScript Pharmaceutical Helpline is available for people concerned about their use of prescription medicines: 1800 737 233, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday.
Touch Base provides information, support and services for the LGBTI community who are affected by AOD.
YoDAA provides information and advice to young people about their AOD use and issues (or someone concerned about a young person): 1800 458 685, 9am-8pm.
1300 MEDICINE provides information for consumers on prescription, over the counter and complementary (herbal, ‘natural’, vitamin and mineral) medicines: 1300 633 424), Mon- Fri, 9am- 5pm AEST.
The Right Mix, developed by the Department of Veteran Affairs, is for military veterans and provides tips, tools and strategies that can reduce the impact of drinking on lifestyle.
Online services
We provide a large number of counselling and support services across Australia including DirectLine, Counselling Online and Gambling Help Online. These services have been developed with the Victorians and Australian government to provide guidance and support for people struggling with issues across the full range of addiction. So if you think you may have a problem with alcohol or other drugs or gambling or a similar behaviour issue, this is a great place to start.
