The Turning Point Addiction Medicine Unit (TPAMU) provides medically managed inpatient withdrawal and stabilisation services at our 1 East and Wellington House sites. All services are by appointment only.

Entering the building
In light of current Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions temporarily in place at Box hill Hospital, visitors and patients attending the hospital can ONLY enter via the main entrance located at 8 Arnold Street, Box Hill. All other access points are CLOSED. All people on site must have their temperature taken before entering the hospital.
On entering the building, head right past Zouki cafe and then turn right following the corridor all the way around past the lifts. The Ward 1 East entrance is straight ahead. You will need to ring the bell on the intercom to be let into the ward.
Public Transport
By Train
Box Hill train station on the Belgrave/Lilydale line is the closest train station to the site and is within a 5-10 minute walk to the hospital.
By Bus
Bus service numbers include:
- 302 City - Box Hill via Belmore Road
- 202 East Kew - Box Hill via Belmore Road and,
- 612 Box Hill - Chadstone via Surrey Hills, Camberwell and Glen Iris stop in front of the hospital along Nelson Road.
By Tram
Tram service number 109 stops along Whitehorse Road and is a 5 minute walk to the hospital.
Parking
Public parking is available on site.
Restricted 2 hour metered street parking is available in streets surrounding the hospital.

That failure to observe parking restrictions on the hospital grounds and surrounding streets may result in a parking infringement notice being issued by the local council.
